Master Builders Association Malaysia (MBAM)
Master Builders Association Malaysia is the premier association for contractors and associated industry professionals in Malaysia. It is open to all categories of contractors, regardless of ethnic and geographical background. Founded in 1954 by Tan Sri Dato’ Low Yat and a group of pioneer Malaysian builders, it has grown from strength to strength to 6,000 direct and indirect members, comprising corporations, affiliated associations and associated industry companies.
In the international arena, MBAM has gained recognition with its affiliation with the International Federation of Asian and Western Pacific Contractors’ Associations (IFAWPCA) and ASEAN Constructors’ Federation (ACF).
MBAM’s mission is to provide a strong voice to construction industry players on all pertinent issues and to facilitate growth and development for the industry. They are recognized as a representative voice in dialogue with Government, public and private sector organizations. MBAM is also pro-active in enhancing professionalism and productivity of members, gearing them towards global competitiveness.
RFY Group is delighted to have our wholly owned subsidiary, RFY Services Sdn Bhd to be registered as an Ordinary Member of Master Builders Association Malaysia in year 2022.
Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE)
Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (malay: Perbadanan Pembangunan Perdagangan Luar Malaysia; officially abbreviated as MATRADE) is a Malaysian external trade government agency. Its key role is to assist Malaysia exporters to develop and expand their export markets. Its functions are:

To promote, assist and develop Malaysia’s external trade with particular emphasis on the export of manufactured and semi-manufactured products and, on a selective basis, imports;

To formulate and implement a national export marketing strategy to promote the export of manufactured and semi-manufactured products;

To undertake commercial intelligence and market research and create a comprehensive database of information for the improvement and development of trade;
-
To organise training programme to improve the international marketing skills of the Malaysian exporters;

To enhance and protect Malaysia’s international trade interests abroad;
-
To represent Malaysia in any international forum in respect of any matter relating to trade;

To develop, promote, facilitate and assist in service areas related to trade; and
-
To advise the Government on matters affecting or in any way connected with trade and to act as the agent of the Government or for any person, body or organisation on such matters.
MATRADE’s objectives are:

To raise the profile of Malaysian exporters in foreign markets;

To disseminate timely and relevant information and market intelligence to help Malaysian companies gain a competitive edge in foreign markets;

To introduce Malaysian companies to foreign importers seeking Malaysian suppliers; and
-
To undertake activities to promote the export of Malaysian goods and services in overseas markets.
In our pursuit to promote our made-in-Malaysia products and services, RFY are registered as members of MATRADE in year 2022.
SME Corporation Malaysia (SME Corp. Malaysia)
SME Corporation Malaysia (SME Corp. Malaysia) is the central coordinating agency (CCA) under the Ministry of Entrepreneur & Cooperatives Development (MECD) that coordinates the implementation of development programmes for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across all related Ministries and agencies. It acts as the central point of reference for research and data dissemination on SMEs and entrepreneurs, as well as provides business advisory services for SMEs and entrepreneurs throughout the country.
SME Corp. Malaysia functions as the central point of reference for information and advisory services for SMEs nationwide. SME Corp. Malaysia provides business advisory services and information to SMEs and entrepreneurs through SME Hub which is located at the Head Office in Kuala Lumpur, and 12 State Offices throughout the country. On top of that, SME Corp. Malaysia also implements various programs and initiatives under its own auspices, including its annual flagship programs; such as the SME Annual Showcase (SMIDEX), Enterprise 50 (E50) Award, and Entrepreneurship and SME Week.
As the central coordinating agency (CCA) for the overall SME development in Malaysia, SME Corp. Malaysia coordinates, streamlines, monitors and evaluates the progress and effectiveness of SME Development programs implemented by 17 Ministries and more tha 60 agencies. The information collected from the relevant Ministries and agencies is reported annually under the SME Integrated Plan of Action (SMEIPA).
RFY Group has registered as a member of SME Corp, and recently have obtained 4-star rating in innovation and management capabilities under SME SCORE Assessments.
